Cruciferous Veggies and Sprouts for Happy Hormones

Everyone seems to be talking about hormones lately, and for good reason. Our hormones regulate pretty much everything in our body, so happy hormones = a happy body.
There are lots of ways to keep your hormones happy, but today we are going to talk specifically about your hormones and some food additions you could make.
Two great additions to your diet to help balance your hormones are:
🥦Cruciferous veggies and
🍃Sprouts
Cruciferous veggies (think broccoli, arugula, bok choy, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, kohlrabi, radish, turnip and watercress) have a naturally occurring substance called indole-3-carbinol (I3C) which converts to DIM (diindolylmethane) and works to balance our estrogen levels.
Sprouts contain natural enzymes that help break down toxins from the food we eat and from our environment. Sprouts to try include alfalfa, broccoli, clover, radish and sunflower.
Including these things daily into your routine can help balance your hormones and keep you healthy!
